Jamie Hayes

Born and raised in Newmarket, Jamie Hayes is a proud 1991 graduate of Newmarket High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Plymouth State College and later completed a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from American Public University.
Jamie began his career in Newmarket athletics in 2003 as the varsity boys' basketball coach, a role he held until his retirement from coaching in 2021. He started teaching physical education in 2005 and soon took on additional responsibilities as Assistant Athletic Director. In 2009, he stepped into the role of Athletic Director, taking brief leaves over the years to focus on family. In 2022, Jamie became Newmarket's full-time Athletic Director and ELO (Extended Learning Opportunities) Coordinator, where he continues to support and grow the school’s athletic and extracurricular programs.
Steve Creamer

Steve Creamer is a Senior Athletic Trainer with Mass General Brigham-Wentworth Douglas serving the student athletes of Newmarket High School in Newmarket, NH since 2023. Steve graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Springfield College in 2011 and his Master’s degree from the University of Oregon in 2016. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings including: Oliver Ames High school, University of Oregon, Brown University, Central Michigan University, and in the Industrial Setting at Moore Wellness Systems. He now resides in South Berwick, ME with his wife Lacey and their dog Chipper.
